Businessman Femi Otedola offers scholarship to quadruplet, gives N5 million to the parents

The Nigerian billionaire who sent his own token through his foundation (FOF) after Nigerians had collectively raised over N19 million through online donations.

The Olayode family’s journey captured the hearts of many after a colleague, Oyeniran James, shared their struggles on social media.

James identified as @jamysax on X (formerly Twitter), shared that the quadruplets used 105 diapers in just six days, a revelation that sparked widespread compassion and led to a flood of donations.

On Monday, the Femi Otedola Foundation, known for its charitable initiatives, presented a cheque of N5 million to the Olayode family.

The cheque was handed over by Philip Akinola on behalf of the foundation. Additionally, Femi Otedola has committed to providing scholarships for the university education of two of the Olayode children.

James took to X (Twitter) to share the news, he wrote:

“Guyssssssssssssssssss, Guess what ???? ‘#realFemiOtedola sent representatives to offer a cheque of N5 million to the parents of the quadruplets and also offered scholarships for the education of two of their kids till University. I’m in tears, guys.’”

This generous donation follows a contribution of N2 million from Airtel Nigeria.
