Protesters on Monday convened at Gani Fawehinmi Freedom Park, Ojota, Lagos state to continue the #endbadgovernance demonstration.
In a viral video online, a half-dressed man was seen among the protesters chanting in Yoruba “we are angry, we are hungry”. Flouting Mr President’s order in a live broadcast on Sunday, the protesters voiced out displeasure with the president’s nationwide broadcast, asserting that it took president Tinubu three days to address the nation considering it rather unfortunate.
Juwon Sanyaolu, tweeting as #AyowoleSanyaolu, wrote, “Protest has started in Ojota; if you are still home, you are wrong!”
The nationwide protest highlights the frustration among Nigerians concerning national issues.
