Nigerian’s number 1 citizen, President Bola Tinubu in a statement on Sunday acknowledged the pains and frustrations of Nigerians.
President Tinubu during the live broadcast on Sunday in Abuja amidst the ongoing #EndBadGovernance nationwide protest stated that he understand the hardship and pains that drive these protest.
President Tinubu therefore asked the protesters, mostly the youths, to shun violence and destruction of both public and private property, adding that such would tear the country apart.
In his words: “My dear Nigerians, especially our youths, I have heard you loud and clear. I understand the pain and frustration that drive these protests, and I want to assure you that our government is committed to listening and addressing the concerns of our citizens.
“But we must not let violence and destruction tear our nation apart. We must work together to build a brighter future, where every Nigerian can live with dignity and prosperity,” he said.
