Award-winning Nigerian musician , Rema has arrive India to perform at the luxurious wedding of Asia’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani’s son, Anant Ambani, and Radhika Merchant, daughter of Pharma tycoons Viren and Shaila Merchant.
It’s been reported that Rema was paid the sum of $3 million to perform his hit song ‘calm down’ at the wedding.
Rema sharing a video of himself on Thursday via Instagram can be seen be seen walking towards a private chartered plane in an all-black outfit. He added ‘Azaman’ off his recently released sophomore album, ‘He Is,’ as background music and posted an emoji of an Indian tricolour.
Few other international singers in persons of Justin Bieber was paid $10million to perform at the wedding and Rihanna who also performed for an undisclosed fee .
The wedding ceremony which will take place at the Jio World Centre in Bandra Kurla Centre(BKC) in Mumbai will be attended by prominent people in the society and also Kim Kardashian and former UK PMs Boris Johnson and Tony Blair, former US Secretary of State John Kerry, former Swedish PM Carl Bildt, and former Canadian PM Stephen Harper.
