Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Adekunle, has categorically stated that he has no intention of rekindling his romance with ex-girlfriend, Venita Akpofure.
In a recent interview with YouTuber Olufemi Daniel, Adekunle opened up about the demise of their relationship, revealing that it didn’t survive beyond their time in the Big Brother house.
Adekunle confessed that his encounter with Venita was limited to the reality show, and he never got the chance to know her outside of that environment.
He reminisced, “This is the first time in so long that I’ve spoken about Venita.
Coming into the house was the very first time in my life I knew about Venita.
I didn’t get the opportunity to know her outside the house. Whatever we had didn’t last outside the house.
The only memory that I have of her is the one we shared in the house.”
When asked by the host if he would consider giving their relationship another chance if they were to sit down and talk about it, Adekunle was emphatic in his response.
“I can sit face-to-face with her, that’s not a problem, but because of everything that has happened, I would not want to give another shot at her. A lot of bad things happened. There could have been a better way to resolve issues from her part.”
Adekunle’s statements come as no surprise, given the tumultuous nature of their relationship during the Big Brother Naija All-Stars edition last year.
The two contestants had a highly publicized romance, but it ultimately ended in a messy breakup.
It appears that Adekunle has closed the door on any potential reconciliation, choosing instead to move on from the experience.
