“Don’t fake it”: Burna boy encourages fans to embrace authenticity

Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, Burna Boy urged his fans to stay true to themselves and not blindly follow trends that don’t resonate with them.

 

Speaking at the Louis Vuitton Men’s Spring-Summer Show in Paris, Burna Boy shared his styling tips, emphasizing the importance of authenticity. “Be you, don’t be too influenced by things that don’t really appeal to you,” he advised.

 

The singer also shared some personal preferences, revealing that his favorite meal is fried yam and stew, and that he had just recorded his favorite song the night before. He also mentioned that his current favorite movie is “Lupin”.

 

Burna Boy was among a lineup of Nigerian music stars, including Wizkid, Rema, Adekunle Gold, Tems, and Mr. Eazi, who attended the prestigious fashion event.

 

The show was closed with a performance of Adekunle Gold’s hit song “Falling Up”, which he collaborated on with Pharrell Williams, the curator of the event.
