“I Don’t Hate Women” Nedu refutes the accusations made by Yvonne Jegede

Nigerian actor and media personality, Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, better known by his stage name Nedu, has stated that he does not detest women, despite rumours to the contrary in some sectors.

Actress Yvonne Jegede hinted at it while criticising the podcaster for criticising her after she apologised in public for some of her remarks on a recent edition of “The Honest Bunch.” The podcaster then clarified the matter.

Nedu mentioned that the majority of the people in his immediate vicinity are women, and he has three daughters and a female manager.

“In previous episodes [of The Honest Bunch podcast], I must have said some things that upset a few people, which has led some of you to suggest that I despise women, which must be because of something I said that offended some people,” he stated in a video message posted on his Instagram page.

“I’m not against women. I’m not. In addition to my three lovely girls, my manager and most of the people in my immediate vicinity are all women. Thus, I’m not sure where all of that thought is coming from.

Remember that Jegede received a warning from Nedu’s management not to “defame” the media celebrity any more, emphasising that she wasn’t under any duress to speak on the programme.
