During a media conference today on Calabar-Lagos coastal highway, Minister of Works Dave Umahi said to Arise TV correspondent Laila Johnson, ” sister i was raised in the village, me i no dey hear “phone.”
Laila responded by telling the minister that it’s just the way she speaks.
Laila retaliated to Umahi’s request for interpreters, arguing that he is surrounded by enough people to understand her.
Laila’s question was promptly answered by Umahi, who said they had received all the approvals needed to start the project.
