The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, or EFCC, has implemented a no-spray policy for the Naira note, which street artist Portable has expressed regret over on social media.
Remember that socialite Cubana Chiefpriest was charged by the anti-corruption agency with the same crime as crossdresser Bobrisky, who received a six-month prison sentence for mutilating Naira.
Portable has now bemoaned the fact that, like his colleague Speed Darlington, he was going bankrupt.
Speed Darlington said on the internet that the EFCC’s decision to charge celebrities for spraying naira notes had destroyed his life.
He claimed that because they are worried about getting arrested, supporters no longer consent to spray him with cash.
According to Portable, who also disclosed that he is broke as a result of the policy, they receive money from the money that their customers splurge on them.
Additionally, he said that by forbidding people from using money spray during celebrations, the EFCC is taking away the pleasure from parties.
He begged the EFCC not to arrest him after he openly apologised to them for all the times he sprayed money on his supporters.
