E-money, a Nigerian billionaire grants Junior Pope his final vow prior to his unexpected death

Nigerian millionaire Emeka Okonkwo, also referred to as E-money, has adopted the  children of late Nollywood actor John Paul Odowondo, better known as Junior Pope.

E-money stated on his Instagram page on Wednesday that he is dedicated to upholding the actor’s last wishes.

Recall that on Wednesday, while returning from a movie shoot in Anambra State, Junior Pope and four members of the Nollywood team perished in a river.

Junior Pope bemoaned not having a life jacket and the risks they take to delight their fans in the most recent video that he posted to his Instagram page.

“Na only me dem born ooo, I get three children, na me go raise them,” was part of the remark.

E-money responded to the statement by promising to raise Junior Pope’s kids and mentioning that they are now a member of the Okonkwo family.

“It’s been a week since you left this world, and you left behind a deep sense of loss that echoes not just among us but throughout Africa and beyond,” he wrote. We really miss having you around, JP, as a brother and a friend.

We are heartbroken by your absence, but we find solace in the knowledge that God will give us the strength to go on and preserve the legacy you have given us.

“We lovingly recall your last words on the boat, “It’s only me who was born; I have three children; I have to raise them,”
