My King Charles’ coronation performance was nearly spoiled by anxiety – Tiwa Savage

Award-winning Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage has acknowledged that she felt anxious before performing at King Charles III of England’s coronation.

Remember how King Charles III’s coronation concert and Big Lunch in March made Tiwa Savage the first Nigerian musician to play at a British royal event?

The singer of “Stamina” admitted during an interview with the Good Morning Britain TV Show that she was anxious during the initial few seconds of her performance at Windsor Castle.

It was lovely, she remarked, “to perform for the King.” Being on stage and representing the Commonwealth was such an incredible experience.

“I’ll admit that the first few seconds made me anxious. However, the moment I began singing, I declared, “I have to just get swept away by the crowd.”
