Ex president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo has reunited with his Vice, Atiku Abubakar.
Atiku expressed his delight and honor after meeting with former President Olusegun Obasanjo, describing the encounter as a “profound privilege” in a statement he personally signed on Monday.
He narrated further that the occasion which facilitated their meeting was the 25th-anniversary celebration of the Women Trafficking and Child Labour Eradication Foundation (WOTCLEF), which is an anti-human trafficking organization that attempts to stop human trafficking and child labour in Nigeria.
Atiku also commended Obasanjo for his commitment and support for the foundation.
Recall that Atiku served as the Vice President when Obasanjo was president of Nigeria between 1999 and 2007.
Taking to his X account, Atiku wrote: “It’s a profound privilege to stride alongside our esteemed former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, into the vibrant celebration of WOTCLEF Foundation’s 25th Anniversary in Abuja. This moment is a testament to the unwavering support the Foundation has received from President Obasanjo. -AA”
