Rapper Cardi B has publicially declared Vice President Kamala Harris as her Democratic Party’s candidate for the United States presidential election.
The rapper had earlier recommend Harris to be the Democratic Party’s Candidate after Joe Biden’s debate with the Republican Party candidate, Donald Trump, welcomed the news of Biden stepping down and endorsing Harris with excitement.
Cardi B took to her X handle and wrote; ”Aha ha ha ha let’s go! I told y’all Kamala [Harris] was supposed to be the 2024 candidate… Stop f*ckin playin with me!” She also asserted that she used to see Trump as “a dire threat”, but under Biden, she felt “layers and layers of disappointment” from what she sees as domestic and foreign mismanagement.
Recall that Cardi B had told Rolling Stone in May that she won’t be voting in the November poll if the two major candidates remain incumbent President Joe Biden of the Democratic Party, and his predecessor, Donald Trump of the Republican Party.
President Joe Biden stepped down on sunday as the Democratic Party candidate and endorsed his vice, Kamala Harris, as the party’s flagbearer.
