Nasarawa State University 300-level student, Mustapha Osama has died in a thwarted robbery attempt in Akwanga Local Government Area of Nasarawa state.A source from the family affirmed that the deceased has been buried according to Muslim rites.
Osama was driving when he was hit by a bullet fired by the gunmen on Friday night along the Gifu-Akwanga road where the incident took place.
According to the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Raman Nansel, the robbery attempt was foiled by the security operatives who responded swiftly to a distress call.
