Abdul Malik Zubairu, a house of representative member representing Maru/Bungudu Federal Constituency in Zamfara state has paid off the sum of N10.5m as bride price for 105 orphans whose parents were killed by bandits.
The occasioned which was graced with prominent men from different locations took place on Saturday in Bungudu town, the headquarters of Bungudu Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
Zubairu also supported them with the sum of N100,000 each for the 105 grooms while the brides received N50,000 to each of to enable them start business of their choices.
The married couples also recieved beds and bedding materials from the lawmaker, in addition to N10.5 million paid as dowry for 105 brides.
