A 61 year old man has been electrocuted during flood incident in Lagos State.
Lagos State Police Command reports that a yet to be identified man has sadly passed on after being electrocuted during the flood incident.
SP Benjamin Hundeyin, police command’s spokesperson,announced this tragedy on X in a post he shared on his X handle @benHundeyin on Thursday.
According to Hundeyin, during the rain yesterday in Orile-Iganmu, a 61-year old man, while wading through the floods, held on to a street light pole and sadly got electrocuted, the incident happened on Wednesday during a heavy downpour in the Orile-Iganmu area of the state. He therefore advised everyone to stay safe always.
