The Grammy-winning Nigerian musician Wizkid, real name Ayodeji Balogun, has posted a statement on Twitter.
He asserted that his colleague Davido will still not be at his level even if he chose to leave the music business now.
This was said by Wizkid during a contentious Monday night Twitter debate with Davido.
He called Davido his “boy,” saying that the DMW leader is merely a songwriter and inspiration.
“I got nun to say to u my boy!” he wrote. Even if I were to retire tonight, you would still be above me. You are a songwriter’s influencer. I hope you’re doing well.
