David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, has finally caved into pressure.
He had uploaded a brief excerpt from the contentious music video for his signee, Logos Olori’s new single “Jaye Lo,” but he has now removed it.
Numerous others demanded that the musician apologise to Muslims for “disrespecting” Islam and erase the video that showed people dancing and worshipping in front of a mosque.
The DMW boss ultimately removed the “offensive” video from his Facebook on Sunday after first dismissing the accusations.
The contentious video has been removed, according to a check of his verified accounts on Instagram and Twitter under the handle @davido.
The artist has yet to apologise to Muslims, though, as of the time this news was filed.
